Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Blast from the past time: Tech Time Warp of the Week: The Commodore-64, 1983 | Wired Enterprise | Wired.com

What was originally a two-hour info/training video on the C-64 has been edited down to nine minutes. I laughed out loud when he described the C-64 as having "a huge amount of memory." The video is also interesting because it's aimed at people who know almost nothing about computeres--it explains what a tape drive and floppy disc drive are.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Anyone else getting an iTunes store 4010 error when trying to update genius results? Google is giving me no love on a solution that actually works.

I get a shitload of weird iTunes errors these days but I don't remember the error number. But they're all something to do with a failed request of the iTunes Store.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So I'm trying to sell my MacBook Pro on Craigslist for $700. Someone just emailed me and asked if it was still available. I replied that it was, but the price was firm. He immediately replied and offered me $200, plus his PC.

People suck.

Tell him to sell the PC for $500 and bring that money plus the $200?

Either that or crush his head, Kids in the Hall- style.

Our wings are not tired

I'm not sure if they suck, or are just painfully stupid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does anyone know why Google's webmaster tools keep coming back with the same error: http:/ /alt.buffistas.net/: Googlebot can't access your site 14 March 2013 --the space is mine, but the colon after the last forward slash is not. Do I need to nuke it from orbit and start again? I'd rather not.

Cool. I mean, I can picture it laying around in a fancy apartment, but maybe NSM in public places. Dunno why.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I like it. I mean, I can see where it would be a nice option over sound and vibration. There are times I wish I had another notification option. I generally just go silent at those times because the noise would be intrusive but find myself checking my phone over and over. Like when I needed to be absolutely reachable but also didn't want to be rude in a yoga class yesterday. I had it on a very soft setting but I checked it constantly. A light would have been ideal. Granted, two other people had their phones on, at full volume and didn't even have the courtesy to go click them quiet when they went off but I totally thought they were rude tools. While I checked my own phone.
