Kingston Unveils 1TB USB Flash Drive
Kingston has announced the DataTraveler HyperX Predator, a USB 3.0 flash drive with an impressive 1 terabyte capacity. The drive is expected to go on sale later this year, meanwhile a 512GB version is available now with a list price of $1,750.
I would roll my eyes, but ND would find it useful. I must remember my requirements are fairly pedestrian compared to people working in multimedia.
I just want a 200-300 GB flash drive.
When the price comes down I will certainly get a few.
I'm doing a film shoot right now where I will be handing off a few 2 TB drives to the editors at the end. 24 tracks of 24 bit 48k audio eats up HD space quickly.

What are you putting on it?
So, I'm thinking it's the HTC Evo V 4G on Virgin. I wish I knew more about the Sprint network where I am -- I know people have issues with AT&T in our building. Any thoughts?
ita,
I might not need quite that much, but I need a larger flash drive than 64 GB. I want to store my itunes library on it.

For backup or transport or what?
My needs are all about transport and handing off large files.
I've definitely had times when a 1-2TB flash drive would have come in handy at work. We don't ship drives as much as we used to, but when we need to we generally need over 500GB of storage.
