t email dummy So, if they have a port number following the host name, how do you enter that in the incoming and outgoing server settings? For example, for the incoming server name, they have "mail.ucla.edu port:110" You wouldn't enter a space, right?

Just put in mail.ucla.edu. The "port: 110" is redundant, as that is the default port for POP.

The prob was I was trying to do it on the iPhone and they don't have a separate port field. I'ma do it on my desktop and then synch the iPhone and all should be well with the world.
