Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Apple Maps has given me pretty good turn by turn directions, but the maps in some areas aren't as detailed as I would like.

I downloaded the app already!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How can I get my hands on some of the apps that come with the Note? I'm not talking about the exact stuff, but similar functions. I'd love to play with the Best Face head swapping, and Photo Note where you can write on the "back" of your pictures is a cute conceit.

I like the Evernote upgrade: it's much easier to read the text, for my aging eyes.

On which platform? OS X had a radical retooling about a month ago, but Windows still looks the old way as of the last time I used it.

I'm going through the Trunk and poking at things that integrate with it. iOS definitely gets the best toys, but I'm not going to be sulky.

I'm still in love with it, in a way I can't say about Astrid right now, because it's tripling my to do items and not clearing them (unless I check them off on my phone, the phone syncs and overrides the changes--even changes from the web interface).

On my Android phone.

How often do you guys update apps on your phone? I probably do it once or twice a day, which is irritating, but less irritating than seeing the numbers climb.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I used to do it pretty often. These days about once every two or three weeks. Yes, my numbers are in the 20s now.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

On my ipad, the number is 114. I'm not even kidding. It is a clue that I probably should delete some apps because I haven't cared if they are updated.

I update the ones on my phone pretty quickly, but I have fewer apps on there.
