Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
So, I have a technology question.
A bunch of friends from all over the world is looking for an online space where we can 1. chat, 2. listen to music together, and 3. do it for free. Places such as Spotify and Turntable are closed for non-U.S. folks.
Any ideas, or suggestions?
Well, this assumes that super-whizzy holographic future formats won't expect a better-than-CD-input (like SACD, for example)
If they do I guess it won't matter what format you stored your ripped CDs in.
Any ideas, or suggestions?
Here's a bunch of turntable.fm clones. No idea if any work internationally or how good they are: [link]
Thanks! I'll examine the options.
Edit: plug.dj works fantastic. Thanks again!
An Ubuntu update replaced GDM om my system with LightDM and really borked the startup. Restoring GDM took care of the problem. I don't like updates that break things.
Speaking of which, getting podcasts seems a lot more complicated after I installed iOS 6 on my iPod touch.
David, Credo Mobile had the Galaxy S3 for $200 with a 2-year contract (Sprint) very recently and may still have that special running. That's how I got it.
OK, help. I have about 15 minutes of video (taken on an iphone) of me and my BFF, a significant chunk of which is us giggling at each other, or going "wait, should we stop it? let's stop it and try again". What I need is to edit this down into something I can submit to apply for the Amazing Race.
Anyone got suggestions of the easiest/fastest/quickest-learning method to edit this mess? Suggestions on websites/tutorials that will show me how to edit and move around clips?
tommyrot, thanks for posting that. A Vic-20 was our first computer. Spiders of Mars! Kongo Kong!
