Hey. New board.

All the features about the PaperWhite kindle sound awesome to me except that blasted touchscreen. I want more pixels and a non-annoying optionally on backlight! I just want it on a device that doesn't turn pages every time I accidentally hit it with my covers.

I'm interested in the continued low-price Android tablet price war Amazon is waging, but I wish the Fire were a little more traditional. I kind of hate their interface (I jailbroke mine, which makes it better, but it's a little touchy)

And, I'd rather do it as professionally as possible

Sound is really important. I found Producing Great Sound for Digital Video very helpful.

Heh, I thought of you when I saw that. Sorry, touchscreen is the wave of the future!

Hey. New board.

I still miss physical keyboards on my phone, though not as badly as I thought I would. I had decently high hopes for the Kindle touch, but it really doesn't work for me.

I've owned 6 kindles at this point (first gen, two second gens, third gen (my favorite, now only available with 3G for extra dollars), touch, and fire). They should modify their product line just for me!

There are a number of slide out keyboards for smart phones. Here is an example for the iPhone: [link]

ThinkGeek has one for cheaper than that.

Hey. New board.

I know, but the carrying-a-separate-thing-around annoyance is bigger than the keyboard annoyance. And SwiftKey helps a LOT. I hated the onscreen keyboard much more on iOS than I do on my Android.

It attaches to the phone, I thought... So, carry as one slightly larger thing. Easy cheesey!
