I am thinking about getting this tv.
Can someone tell me why I shouldn't? Except for the price. My tv is done and I need a new tv. The price seems high, but low for this category of TVs.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

It's one of Consumer Reports' recommended models.
oh great! I stumbled on to something decent. thanks. this happens so rarely.
I believe that I have finally broken up with Firefox as my primary browser. It's just too glitchy.
why I use chrome on my main computer and opera on my eternally dying/never dead computer.
There is no way any of that is still available. Nothing that caught my eye, anyway.
Not that I should be looking. My replacement MacBook should be arriving within a week or so. Now new silicon for ita ! for a while.
The downside of my switch to chrome is that it does not remember the actual threads I've been in in my history when I "read new", so I can't go back if I need to, like I used to be able to do.
I'm not a huge fan of that either.
Really, I just wish that Firefox worked on this machine. Doubly so because it does on another. It's so, "it's not you, it's me."

I recently got the similar Samsung UN46EH6000, and have loved it. My only "complaint" is that the broadcast picture seems *too* sharp. Even old films have the sharpness of shot-on-video soap operas, if you know what I mean. I miss the graininess!
