Calibre can probably break the DRM so you can read it in Kindle's app.

Tommy, there's a plug-in you can get: google drm removal calibre, that should find it for you.

I love my iPad for reading while eating. It props up nicely, I can use a knuckle or side of my finger while not having to hold a book. I still like hard copies, though.

Oh, see, that's why I like my kindle better for eating--one clickbutton, no swiping, so easier one handed than the iPad, and less feeling like I"m going to get food all over it from the swiping. Hadn't tried knuckle though.

I'm hoping you guys can help me with some confusion I've got.
Currently, I've got some webhosting with Dreamhost, as well as a couple of domains registered through them. I don't need the web space anymore as the forum I've been running on there is basically defunct, and am going to close my Dreamhost account. I want to keep one of the domains, though, and just attach various subdomains of it to different Google sites (e.g. tutoring.grizzy.org currently is connected to a Google site about my tutoring services, not hosted on Dreamhost).
I THINK what I need to do is transfer my domain to an independent domain registrar who doesn't connect the domain services to web hosting. I should then be able to do Google hosting with the domain without paying for web hosting I don't need. Is that correct?
If so, any recommended registrars?

Second question. I'm closing down a web forum that has created, over the years, 607377 posts in 3726 topics, with well over 1000 active members (and over 30000 inactive ones).
I don't want the archives to disappear forever - at the least, I'd like interested members to have access - but am at a loss of how to provide the archived information in a way they can actually use. Most of them are not going to be familiar with SQL, so providing them with the actual databases won't be particularly helpful.
I guess what I'd love is to be able to create an equivalent to our threadsucks, only automatically, and organized into folders by topic. Any chance that's actually possible?

OK, that TurboScan app, is freaking COOL! Just used it to send a document to the HOA. Figured I'd give it a try instead of the work scanner. It seems to color adjust the light for you. You can adjust the edges. Looks crisp and clean. Not bad for $2!
