Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Remember when you bought your last piece of home theater equipment and the sales guy tried to convince you to upgrade to Monster Cables for an extra 50 bucks? You probably stood there quickly debating the merits of laying out that kind of green for some cables, right? So, just to reiterate, these cost $12,000.

Coding and Sleeping

Those cables are very close to twice the price of the car I just bought.

I keep telling Drew that we are in the wrong line of audio work, but he refuses to listen. Keeps saying something about "ethics" and "morals," which always makes me confused and have to go lie down until the swimminess passes, because it's Drew we're talking about here.

I mean, it wouldn't take that much work to manufacture some nice, three foot long speaker cables that would retail at a $300,000 price point. And Beverly Hills and Brentwood are right there!

We could say they were artisinally hand crafted by a hipster in Silver Lake. I'd even wear flip-flops and drink PBR while I was doing it.

Jumper cables, strip off the jacketing, slide fancy jacketing over copper, and figure out how to get a connector on there that can fit in stereos and speakers. That much copper will surely make audiophiles jump for joy. After that, it's all about marketing.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'd even wear flip-flops and drink PBR while I was doing it.

The sacrifices one must make for grifting art....

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or you could have someone weave organically grown cotton fibers around the outside - charge for the hand crafting. (wouldn't that be a good project for some kids in summer camp?)
