All is well that ends in pizza.

I think I'll post this in Press...

If any newer Mac OSX users (Leopard/10.5 and newer PPC and Intel) are curious if they may have the "flashback" malware that's claimed to be on 1% of Macs out there, they can download this checker:

Update your OSX to the latest patches for Java for your version (or use OSX update) to prevent this Java malware.

It mines CC info and passwords, so it's always a good idea to keep your patches up to date, whatever your OS.

Isn't that the android app ita ! Uses to have her phone take on certain settings based on location?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yup. It lets you switch settings and trigger certain actions based on GPS and network IDs and phone physical position (like face up or down), for instance, or calendar setting (in a meeting, etc).

No, I have no idea.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I haven't used it, but from the advertising it seems like Siri can do some of what Locale does.

I don't have Siri. I have an iPhone 4.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Suzi, from what I understand, there's something about iOS that makes that kind of functionality really difficult, if not impossible, to apply to iPhones.

Darn it. That is what I was finding too, -t. I just want it to turn on my wifi when I'm home and turn it off when I leave home. I have forgotten to turn it off and ran down my battery, so was hoping to automate.

I think there are options for that if you jailbreak, but that's beyond my scope.
