I think what my daughter's trying to say is: nyah nyah nyah nyah.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

You might need to install a driver for your phone first, Sean. That's what I needed to do. Try poking around the Howard Forums for threads mentioning your phone model: [link]

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Phone Tool should have installed the driver, though. Weird.

Hi. You are all here to witness my slide into the dark side.

I have never ahem-ed in my life. Have no clue what to do or where to get it. I'm given to understand there are various resources I can use but the documentation I have read did not help me to understand which type of ahem tool is best for my purposes.

I'd really appreciate some guidance.

Specifics: eMac running 10.4.8 with 1GB Wanted: Jonathan Creek 2-4

Profile addy is good. Much obliged for any Samaritan assistance.

I should add that I have the vlc player...but the forums are telling me that doesn't necessarily matter with aheming.

I'm completely flummoxed...and I get that this is a stupid question...but I'm not finding any how-tos that are even remotely helpful.

whimper

Okay. Well. I found tomato...but in 1.5 hours, I've only received 7% of the file. Is that normal? I'm going to be so bummed if it takes a full day for something to download and then not have it work.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The speed depends on the size of the file and how many other folks are also ahemming the file. Sometimes it's fast. Sometimes it's slow.

2.2gb. About 5% per hour.

I should have set it to run overnight.

Lesson learned.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Beej, given that it's probably a low-demand download, it'll probably take a while, especially since seasons 2-4 are going to be pretty big. I wouldn't anticipate any problems with playing the files, though. I've almost never had any problems, especially using VLC.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

For example--when I was aheming the Indiana Jones trilogy, it took about three and a half weeks. ::shrug:: Patience is a virtue, in the world of aheming.

Sigh.

Just now turned over 19%

Three and a half weeks. Seriously?

Ah well. I'd have bought the dvds if I could get them in region 1. Patience is, indeed a virtue.

Could be worse I suppose. Back in the day, I could not have been running multiple programs while doing this, so...it's all to the good.
