Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Oh, that's crap usability design. Real crap.
Speaking of missing the point, Time Warner has wi fi spots opening up around LA, and most of the Android browsers I have don't work with their validation page--it's only Firefox, if memory serves. And even then, it's pretty clunky. I have to copy and paste my password in from somewhere else. Dude, it's a Wifi hotspot. You're pretty damned likely to get Android browsers, no? No?
Have any of you iPad users tried the Dolphin browser?
I really intended to try other browsers but Safari decided to go and get tabs in their latest update and now I have no need. Yes, that's just enough to keep me.
thanks for the heads up, -t! it's...okay. i have to click on pictures to make them bigger and gifs to make them animate.
Oh my god. I wish the CI app came in Android form. It's so nifty! I see what you're saying about the timers, -t. And, hell, not having to log in every time (I hate that about the website) is golden.
It's weird, but I'm making grabby hands at something I already have.
Flash doesn't work on my lynx browser, either!

Wahoo! Good news, Maria!
I just got a new firmware flash on my tablet, and an update to Honeycomb.2. All I've noticed so far is a Swype update, but it's one long in the coming--the ability to edit the custom dictionary. What the fuck took them so long? I entered some random stuff in there by mistake, and it itches to see it suggested. Gone now! I cleaned that sucker up.
I need to poke around and see what else they changed/fixed/added.
Anyone have a comparison between Springpad and Evernote?

I use both, but I definitely use Evernote more. I use Springpad for shopping/buying/product kinds of things.
Ooh, that's perfect, thanks. Just what I needed.
