Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Jessica, I'm having that issue in Firefox. Chrome seems to be okay.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Jessica, I'm having that issue in Firefox.

Ah, probably a Firefox issue then. I wonder if IT will let me download Chrome or if I'm going to be stuck with IE...

My best Tumblr experience on the iPad has been just in a browser. I'd love an app but haven't found a good one.

yeah...i guess that's what i'll do until i can hunt down a good free app.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have the tumblr app on Android, and I don't see the point. It is better in a browser.

What do you want out of an app, tiggy?

Anything that you can't do in a browser? I'm trying to think if the official app for Android has anything extra in it, and nothing is coming to me.

If anyone's looking for a Dropbox/box.net alternative, Gizmodo just had a post on pogoplug which gives you 5GB free. It also lets you expand the cloud with (proprietary) hardware on your side, as well as buy space on theirs.

Technically I'm happy with Dropbox, but I just tried to move a bunch of files to my tablet, and I can't work out how to select and download multiple at once. I can't work out if it's me or the app.

I'm pretty sure that the Android app is less functional than the website, so you'll probably have to hold out for a third party solution.

Jessica, the internets tell me that the Gmail chat problem may be an issue with AdBlock Plus, if you're using that. Go to Options -> Filters -> Update all subscriptions. Fixed the problem for me!
