Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not on the G2, no.

Hey. New board.

Huh. Odd. Is it running vanilla android 2.3, or some particular T-Mobile flavor?

ETA: These FAQs seems to think you can add folders just by long-pressing. Not that I don't believe you, just that this was one of the features Android had ages before iOS that let the Android people make mostly ignored arguments as to its superiority, so it seems very weird a major phone like the G2 would drop it.

Sorry--I got my devices crossed. You can't on the 10.1 Tab. You can on the G2.

OK. I think the menu is now better looking, and set up to be reasonably functional once any of the choices actually work. stcc.be

tiggy- OK. I don't know if/when I'll be ready to buy, so don't hang onto it on my account, but I'll check with you should the time come.

If you have a rooted device, there's a new Swype out that seems to be quite sweet. Tempting...

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My Swype has been in Spanish since the last update! I thought it was cute for a while and left it. Then I finally changed it back but the interface is still in Spanish. It wants to know if I want to agregar my words to the diccionario.

So who has the 4S? I'm curious about the utility of Siri. I want to wrap my head around the paradigm they're trying to introduce above and beyond mere voice commands and snarky answers.

Apparently some Android developers went off and wrote Iris, but I don't see the point. It's pretty impressive that they wrote it in a day, but so far Voice Actions has provided me with more information, and the voice dialer more utility.

Our wings are not tired

I've got a 4S and I'm finding Siri very good, I also feel like I'm just scratching the surface. I've used it in my car to have it read and respond to text messages. It's awesome for setting alarms while I'm on the road, I just reach over, hit one button and say "Wake me up at 7:30 tomorrow morning" and I've got an alarm set. I've also started using it to schedule meetings. Setting one for tomorrow was as easy as saying "I'm meeting with Susan tomorrow morning at 10:30"

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I loved Siri on my Iphone 4 before the service was taken away from us!
