What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Anyhow, it might be worth taking a look at buying from Lenovo directly if you are wanting to get a Lenovo. I found the price competitive, they had free shipping, and I could make those little customizations.

I ended up buying mine from Amazon.

I know I'm months late on this, but I just upgraded to Firefox 7 and aaaah everything is bizarre and I miss the status bar and what is even going on and is it actually SLOWER than before or am I imagining it what the hell.

Oh, add-on bar. That's nice.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't get finder to connect to network shares. At first I thought it was networking, but I can ssh over to the host, and I restarted samba on the linux box, but no dice. It also won't connect via finder to my NAS, although the Time Machine backups seem to be working fine.

It just keeps saying Connecting and nothing happens when I click on the "Connect As" button. I even deleted my credentials in order to force it to reauthenticate. No dice.

So I figure it's the Mac, but I can't work out what else to do. Help!

Nobody has any suggestions for my SMB problems? I can't even get it to force me to reauthenticate. Even when I use the menu and Go to the server, it just spins and nothing ever happens.

Hey. New board.

I dunno, ita. That's weird. You're using the smb:// opener, right?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

When I try to sync my iPhone with iTunes I get a pop-up saying that this computer isn't authorized and that I'll lose 7 apps if I sync without authorization. When I click to authorize, I get a pop-up saying the computer is already authorized. It just keeps going in that loop until I cancel the sync. Any ideas on how to fix this?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I was Gris. I rebooted, and the connection failed, as it should, with the credentials deleted. And I put them back in and I'm golden. I just hate rebooting. I had a ton of documents I wanted to save to the shared drive, dammit.

I gave that a shot. Didn't work.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

aurelia, have you transferred your purchases from your iPhone to your computer?

(for the record, I hate the way syncing is set up. Why do they assume that I want my computer and iPad to have exactly the same stuff?)
