FWIW, I use Preview to mod pictures too.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Thank you! It looks like I need to crop my pictures a bit to get them to display right as slides, but I definitely know where I'm going with this now.

Thanks, le nubian and Gris! It took a while of playing around with it, but I've got this all set up now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Unfortunately Android File Transfer doesn't work with the Galaxy Tab. It's Kies (unwieldy) or nothing. Dropbox, I suppose, if you can wait.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

So, I can get Amazon Prime for half price. Anybody know what the free-with-Prime video selection is like?

Debet,

it is okay, not earth-shattering. The worst part (which may not affect you) is that the Amazon channel interface on Roku is 100 kinds of ass. It is almost unusable.

I have Amazon prime free for a year. I think I can stream stuff to the tivo for free, but does anyone know how it works?

yes. you have to register your TiVo through Amazon and then when you buy or rent a video, you can have it sent to your TiVo from the pulldown menu.

Hey. New board.

I know nothing about the streaming - haven't used it. But Prime itself is the most amazing of all amazing things. I buy almost everything through it. I recently got a lawnmower. It was on my front porch less than 24 hours after I clicked "Buy", since I paid the $3.99 for one day shipping.

Just checked, and I have free shipping, but would have to pay $40/year for the other stuff.
