Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm using iTunes 7.2. I just upgraded four songs to iTunes plus!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I've been using it since this morning. I don't have much more interest than before in buying anything from the store, but the app seems stable so far.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

How does that work? You can upgrade a song you already bought without having to buy the iTunes Plus song outright? How much is it to do this?

It's 30ยข a song. And iTunes only found four songs out of about 170 that I've purchased that could be upgraded.

Here's a question that shows how anal I am. When you upgrade a song, does it preserve the song's stats? (Date added, play count, rating, etc.)

Yes!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does iTunes tell you automatically which of your songs can be upgraded, or is it something you have to ask it?

[nevermind, I see the upgrade button in the iTunes store now]

Hey. New board.

That Palm thing is... odd. I have a Treo, and use it fairly often for email and web browsing, but I don't really want this. On the occasions I need a full-sized computer... I have my full-sized computer. And I already know how to use my Treo as a modem for it.

Underwhelmed indeed.

On the plus side, whatever Apple said today at that same event helped it gain ANOTHER $4 in stock price. I bought 10 shares at $90 about a month ago in my retirement account - today it hit $118.77. I really wish I had bought more than 10 shares.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

There are news reports that iphones will be carrying 3rd party software. That might have done it.

Trust my rage

Is it true you can buy an iPhone tomorrow?
