This is kind of technology related - my office has gone to using websites for payroll and time management. There's one site where we go, log in, and put in a request for time off (or register time taken for sick leave). There's another where we go to see our "paychecks" (in quotes because it's all done electronically and no paper anywhere). My problem is with the payroll one - every time I go there (twice a month) they've redesigned the site so I have to figure out where to log in and every time they require me to reset the password and my security questions. Every. Damn. Time. It infuriates me, but they don't seem to be able to keep it the same for even a month. sigh ....

can you use a password manager - or is this a force reset.
Is there a good reason I can get Google Voice for the iTouch and not the Galaxy Tab?
No.
You may be able to make Google Voice SMS work, I'm not sure. It's a $2 app that improves the Google voice texting ability over what the app provides (allowing multiple recipients at once, for example). But it may require the GV app to be functional. What I want to know is why the google voice webapp is so much worse on Android than iPhone. The browsers should be pretty much equivalent, shouldn't they?
It took forever (because of AT&T madness) to get the actual Google Voice app for the iphone. I heard Android had a better app (not webapp) than Ios.
When I search on google voice from my Galaxy there are no relevant hits. Free or not. However, the app on my Android phone isn't bad--what do you feel is wrong with it?
My main problem is that I get texts twice. I wish there were a way to resolve that.
le nubian - if you're responding to me, it's an outside website. They redo it. Constantly. I've asked the person who manages HR matters, but it's not really high on her priority list.
The one thing they do keep? the stock photo that HAD to be included and the descriptive phrase. I put in "shit they make me do". THAT stays constant.
how irritating.
Has anyone linked to a good cheat sheet for Word 2007 here? My new job uses it and I'd love a handy reference until I get used to the crazy.
megan,
I think there is a link that shows you what the commands were in the previous version and what they are now.
maybe in the help menu?
megan-
I can email you the one we have at my job. It is an excel spreadsheet of the old menus telling you were the items are on the new ribbon.
