Good god, the Google Voice charges for calling Jamaica are dramatically lower than my other options. Verizon charges me $.38/minute, at the very lowest. Although it looks like $.76 on my bill. T Mobile charges me discounted .34 and .48 (mobile). Google is .09 and .22. Sheeit. I'm totally doing that from now on.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I did that with a few other buttons, Gud, but Refresh isn't listed.
Maybe it's a Firefox 5 thing. On my FF 5, when you customize the bar, the refresh button splits off the URL box and you can move it. It doesn't appear in the dialog box with the various buttons, though, you have to move it on the bar to get it to it's old place.

I know, right?! A good chunk of our phone bill was calls to Canada, but via GV those are free! I have noticed a little latency, but not enough to bother me.

UC rules say can't do it via e-mail, and the vendor didn't have the ability to do it via website. GV to the rescue, as the UC phone system apparently blocks int'l calls.

yeah, i do have FF5. new computer. so i was forced to upgrade. how do i go about doing the above?
Okay, like this...
Select "Toolbar Layout..." from the options. [link]
Then ignore the dialog box it brings up and drag the refresh button to where it once lived before. [link]
Click done and you have the classic refresh button position. [link]
thanks! i'll give it a shot when i get home from work.
Wait, there's FF5 already?? I thought FF4 just came out!
Yeah, apparently they decided they don't like the decimal point anymore.
for some reason when I see "FF4" and "FF5" I keep reading them as "F2F" ... wishful thinking, I guess
