Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

So, I just had my college commencement (finally!) last month. I was planning to send photos out with my thank you cards (especially to relatives I haven't seen in years), but I have a truly horrifying amount of chin(s) in Every.Single.Shot. I thought I'd try to get them "adjusted" before printing, but from the prices, you'd think the nice folks at Ritz Camera thought I wanted them to actually remove the excess from my person, not just the photos.

So, that was a lot of backstory to say - can anybody recommend a not overly pricey photomanip software program? (Or is anybody who's already using one at home looking for photos to practice on? They're humdingers. For serious).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have been known to remove a chin here and there, not to mention many zits and shiny noses. Let me take a look at them.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Does anyone have any advise for me on my WD external hard drive? My computer won't recognize it anymore and it has all my back up data on it.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I cannot remember who here was asking, but someone wanted to manage photos a bit better between iphone and computer. There are two apps with mac clients that might be helpful:

photosync or cinq photo.

cinq photo's link is here: [link]

It does light up, just like it's supposed to, le nubian.

I haven't tried the disk utility. Will report back!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We've just transitioned to Windows 7 at work, and I'm having some adjustment issues. The assumption is that it will be more stable than what we had before, but...whoah. Alt Tab is just not like it used to be. It doesn't seem to reliably flip me back to where I last was, plus everything goes transparent and it's really annoying. Am I stuck with that?

But most damaging, pop ups aren't taking focus, and the task bar isn't really very obvious. So when instant messages come in, or Outlook is telling me I have a meeting, I'm not noticing. Is there some setting I'm missing?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I can't help you, ita. We got a proprietary secure version of W7 here, and after over a year, I still hate it. And the system doesn't seem to me to be any more stable: it still can't handle having IE, Word, Outlook, and Excel all open at once.
