You've put in on a bed of rice, right? That's worked for a couple of phones, for me.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I did put it on rice. I'ma wait another 24-48 hours before I flip it back over and try to turn it on. I am the world's worst at delaying gratification and so the wait is KILLING me.
It's NEW, Steph! Of course it's making you craxy.
I have an Android g2 question. The new email notification doesn't work usefully. It tells me the total number of unread messages,, which is reasonable, but it also insists I have new mail if there are an any left unread. Which there always are. The phone before defined new mail as mail received since the last time I checked the inbox. Googling finds me with some people complaining if the problem, but not as many a I'd have expected, and no suggested fixes.
Anyone here know anything about it?
What is Python 2.6.2? From my quick Google, it looks like a programming language, but I don't do programming, and I don't know why it's on my computer.
Yeah, it's a programming language, and it comes with Apple computers. I think it's used to run install scripts and stuff like that.
So if I remove it from my PC, it probably won't hurt anything?
You might have an app that runs on it. Unless it is running on start up and eating memory cycles I would not remove it. And even then I might just remove it from startup.
Ah, well, my impetuosity got the better of me. We'll see what crashes after it finishes uninstalling.
edit: What I should really uninstall is The Sims Complete, but I keep thinking I'm going to play it.
Hopefully nothing will crash.
