Samsung LN46C630. It's last year's 46" 1080 model.
I can't rewind or fast forward or pause or anything, but for watching 22 minutes of acquired TV at once, it's pretty damned nifty.

Yay!
ION, a friend just bought a MacBook Air and she didn't know it doesn't have an Ethernet connection. She does all her online banking using her laptop's Ethernet connection rather than WiFi. So I found some USB-to-Ethernet thingies online for between $16 and $30 or so. But a guy at the Apple department of Circuit City told her she has to use an Apple USB-to-Ethernet connector ($29) rather than a non-Apple one. But I've seen non-Apple USB-to-Ethernet connectors that say they work with Macs.
Any idea who's right?
Pretty much any USB to Ethernet adapter ought to work.
And damnit. The Fedex guy showed up when the doorman was OTL.
Boo!
In other news, Firefox 4 really does seem to be a lot faster than 3.x
I CAN HAS MAC MINI!!
Her name is Branka.
It's okay, netbook, I still love you too.
I finally got my iPad last night! It's pretty sweet. The Time Warner app is pretty cool—I can watch live TV on my iPad. Except that there's nothing good on TV.
My sister won a free iPad yesterday at work! It's a first gen one, but still--free iPad!
Okay. Who can tell my why the PDF passport application I'm trying to print is getting shrunk down to 1/4 size??? In the preview window it looks fine, but no matter what scaling option I choose it's printing out at 25% the size it should be, centered on the page.
As far as I know our printer drivers are up to date. I'm printing to a networked Epson (plugged directly into DH's laptop) from a Macbook Pro.
