I use My Cast Weather. It has the best radar.

I don't know if the Android app is any better.
When I got my smartphone I went to Livestrong to get the My Daily Plate app--and found dozens and dozens of people angry at the fact that the DP app is two years out of date, doesn't work with the latest version of Android, and hasn't been debugged or updated. I was very disappointed because I have a Gold membership at Livestrong.
So I ended up with the Android app for MyFitnessPal, which is okay, but not awesome (for one thing it sometimes keeps running in the background and runs down my battery).
Oooh, thanks for all the recs!!!
beyond this...what kinds of things do you need or are into? I have a lot of apps.
Games are great, and the nutrition and weather recs will definitely come in handy, as will the iBattery one.
I bought the iPod because my old cheapo mp3 player just frustrated me (I didn't like the way it organized my music), and I wanted wifi access (tommyrot used his gizmo to get us the address for the Goodman two weeks ago, and I thought, "I gotta get me one of those!"). The apps were just a big plus I didn't consider until later in the decision-making process.
I'm going to be reading through the online manual this afternoon to see what all I can do with the thing.
if you travel: tripit is an excellent app. I use their service (free). And I have an app that shows all the airport maps.
So, for MP4: "Final Media Player" "Free File Opener". There is also Real Player, but I consider Real Player more of a virus.
Other options? (I'm on Windows XP home patched up through all current patches)
Quick Time.
I agree, Quick Time would be my choice.
Thirded. Although I'm not sure I consider RealPlayer a virus so much as a biblical plague.
Dust off and nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
Um, so I came home to Devi sitting on my ipod. It now reads Accessorize Test Please plug fw LCD ID: 4 FWPWR:0
