I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can find cool things like food calculators of various types.

Does anyone have specific recs for these? I could use one, but there are so many choices I don't know where to start.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I am a dork and have The Weather Channel's app, because I like their level of detail.

I am a dork and have the Weather Underground iphone site saved as a desktop(?) shortcut/app thingie. My sista in disdain for the built-in weather app!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

my favorite weather app is Weather HD. It is pretty and provides information quickly. It does have a small fee.

My sista in disdain for the built-in weather app!

I mean, what is the POINT? It's just the old Tiger-based (or Panther?) dashboard widget, turned into an app. BFD.

I have CNN's and AP News' apps, but I'm not overwhelmed with love for them. I also have The Onion's app, and it, too, is not that great.

The Adult Swim app, however? Rocks my socks.

And the $2.99 I paid for Bejeweled might be the best money I have ever spent.

DC Comics' app is nifty, and I like the way the comic pages navigate, but I could never read comics long-term on an iPod Touch. If I had an iPad, I would switch to all-electronic comic reading, I think.

Kroger has an app that lets you load coupons onto your shopper's card. So if (1) you live in a region with Kroger, (b) you shop at Kroger, and (iii) you use a shopper card (some people disdain them b/c of privacy issues), it's a nifty little app.

In conclusion, I love my iPod Touch. I worked all day today listening to episodes of Veronica Mars as I typeset stuff.

I use Daily Plate online to track my food and exercise, and I like it a lot b/c of its huge database of food, but I've read a lot of criticism on their forums for the iPhone app. I don't know if the Android app is any better. I keep waffling on buying it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I use Weatherbug. It's pretty crappy, but it's better than the built-in app, and it was free.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Is the Kroger app called Kroger? We have King Soopers here, which is a subsidiary of Kroger's and that sounds cool.

Is the Kroger app called Kroger?

I think I just searched on Kroger, yeah. Give it a shot. Or the King Soopers Web site might point you towards the app; a lot of Web sites do that to pimp their apps.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I use Weatherbug. It's pretty crappy

They "upgraded" it a while back. I used to love it. Now, not so much...
