Readability has forasaken me and moved into paid territory. Are there an free converters out there that can translate horrible webpages into easily readable simplicity? I'm living off of ramen noodles in order to put gas in my car, help!

Julie, if you use Firefox, I Use Adblock plus and flashblock add-ons to cut down on the visual clutter.
There are others, but I can't stand doing without those two, at the very least.

I don't have any audio setup, and I'd like to do something more than just my 42" HD LG's audio has. Where's a good place to start looking for something entry level but not dead end? I'm not sure I'm ready to start wiring speakers to my wall for a full authentic surround sound experience, not quite yet.

Well, what exactly do you want to achieve? Do you want a surround setup you don't have to mount? Do you just want a stereo setup?
We wired for surround when we bought the house. And last week, someone gave us a really nice Polk surround system. But the gauge of wire we used is too thick to fit well into the speakers and still mount them properly (the location of the jacks on the speakers mean the cables need to make an abrupt 90 degree angle, and that's with the speakers out from the wall some) so we're kinda at a loss right now.

How feasible is that? As far as my seating goes, I sit halfway back in the room, off to the right, and that's not going to change. So I'm not going to get any true audiophile setup. So maybe just a decent stereo system, then.
Well, I wonder if I could move the TV over into the right corner so I'm sitting directly in front of it.
I'm also toying with buying a 47" 1080p TV if taxes look good, so if any LAista wants a cheap 720p 42" LG, there might be one on the market soon.

Well, it depends on how much you want to spend. I mean, you could do poles and shit, but I suspect that's not what you're after. So yeah, a decent stereo setup is what you want, it looks like. How much are you willing to spend?
