Honestly, I've never seen cables in any brick & mortar store that could match internet prices.
(Heh - and yes, I have moved from the address it looks like you're centered on. Not too terribly far, but far enough to make it an annoying trip on public transit.)

Oh, ND! That would be fantastico! I signed up for the course thinking that I could run the software on my ancient iBook only to find out that it wasn't going to work.
I get home Sunday night, so I'll check into it on Monday.
Television has been obtained! I'm glad I got the 42 inch, because the 47 would not have fit in the space. It is currently obtaining channel info. It's going to take a minute I think.
I looked long and hard at the Samsung (including a side trip to Best Buy to see it in person), but ultimately went with the Vizio. I checked Consumer Reports, CNet, and some online fora. Between price and warranty at Costco, it's the best deal.
Plus, I thought that the universe was trying to tell me something since there was one left and the woman who was standing there asked me if Vizio was a good brand because her Samsung had broken.
Fuck, it works, but the picture is black and white. I thougth that I had an HDMI cable in the Tivo box. I think I probably screwed up the color plugs or didn't push them all the way in. Color is fine in non-tivo mode.
Nothing is ever easy anymore.
I've done something wrong with delicious. Trying to sign in, it forced me to sign in with my Yahoo ID, which shows me bookmarks up to last September. I know I've bookmarked stuff with delicious since then, so apparently I have another delicious account, but I can't find or access it because every time I try to log in, it takes me to the Yahoo sign in. I'm gonna be mad if I've lost all those bookmarks.
I will need to get a new laptop sometime between now and August. It may well be one of those MacBooks.
I am dying for one of the 11” Airs after playing with ND’s for a couple of days. So awesome.
