Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Nonian, I love my Jawbone Icon. It's in my ear for at least an hour each way on my commute. It tells you exactly how much talk time is left and can connect to more than one device at a time. also does a fabulous job of screening out background noise, including wind. It The only drawback is the relatively short talk time (about 4 hours), but that's never been an issue for me yet. It uses a standard micro USB charger so I hook it up to my car phone charger and it's ready to go for the ride home.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That seems like a way better idea.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I use Calibre quite a bit. Happily.

And Maria had a better bluetooth rec than I... I like mine but I think I might like yours better....

The status is NOT quo.

Sorella! This is my earpiece of choice as well, and boy did it take a bunch of cheaper (but ultimatelty more expensive since they broke or functioned so poorly) ones before I found my OTE.

Can anyone think of a reason wordpress.com would refuse to post one of my blog posts? It just hangs and times out. It will post other blog posts from the same account. I've looked into the html and there's nothing odd; there is just text, blockquote, and about 4 links. No embedded images or videos or anything. I have one word in Unicode Greek, but tried taking that out and it didn't help. WTF?

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Flea, I'd guess too many links. They probably think it's spam.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'd be surprised if that was it, actually -- (for a comment, yes, possibly spam trapping, but not for a post) Hanging and timing out sounds more like it's having trouble writing to the database entry for that post (which is created as an autosave even before you post). It's usually fixed if you copy the content, start a whole new post, paste, and post that version.

I tried that, both yesterday and today, and it did not work. The new post hangs, too. WEIRD.

Okay, I got it to post. I tried posting it from the netbook, using the campus wireless network, and I used Chrome instead of Firefox. And while it wouldn't post on either of two different computers with hard internet connections, it posted on our super-ultra-flaky wireless? Whatever. It's done.
