Google docs went and turned all possessives into Juliebird's instead of Juliebird's. Why and how can I stop it? Also, typing at the same time as someone else in the same document is so cool!

Google docs is so awesome for group work in class. The formatting is annoying, but I have them do all of the prep work there and then import it to a Word doc where they can polish and finalize it.

Can anyone recommend good affordable data recovery software for the Mac platform? It turns out what I thought was a problem with my old laptop was instead the death rattle of my Firelite external HD, and the standard Apple Disk Utility can't repair it or pull the files I want to salvage out of it.
