So, I had an issue redocking my laptop at work (power cord had been pulled out accidently) and now for some reason my primary montior has been switched from the one on the left to the widescreen on the right. I cannot switch it back via Control Panel/Display. Any other ideas?
Megan -- On my PC, if I right-click on the desktop, one of the context menu options that pops up is "Graphics Properties". If I select that, I can switch which monitor is the primary (among other things).
That was fascinating, tommyrot. We all have such short term memories technologically these days.
I've been pretty impressed by how quickly 2TB hard drives have come down in price. They've already hit the point where if I need a new hard drive, I don't want to bother with anything less.
I finally added the profile for my iPod Touch to my car stereo so it can play through the car's speakers wirelessly. It's like living in the future.

Thank you! That worked partially, but it allowed me to go back into Display and change things back.
The network has been pushing through more and more automatic settings so I was worried I was stuck with it. Hopefully it was just a weird glitch because of the docking and undocking.
