Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
So I'm finally going to get rid of my collection of dead computers in the closet at the e-cycling thingy in Park Slope on Sunday. Assuming I can't even get the G5 to power on (which is how it wound up in the closet in the first place), removing the hard drive should take care of any personal information on that machine, yes?
