A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I need 2-3GB of server space so that someone can send me a few 650MB files each month. What's are some cheap/good options?

Our wings are not tired.

Jon, I use Egynte.com and am happy with service and pricing.

Oh, I may have misunderstood.

Yep. ;)

Hmmm... seems like the free version of Megaupload may meet my needs. Weird!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jon,

Megaupload (free) (and any of the similar services) has really SLOW download rates. Just FYI. In terms of download rates, I prefer rapidshare or hofile.

RS has weird pricing explanations, but they seem to be the most stable with the fastest speeds between RS, HF, and MU. You can buy a RS account (or HF for that matter for 1 month or 3 months or longer) so you aren't locked in if this is a time dependent activity.

I'll say!

Rapidshare limits file size to 500MB unless you get the "RapidPro" option? Or if you buy "Rapids"? But what does a "Rapid" actually buy you? It's unnecessarily confusing!

ha!

so, all you need to do is buy the rapids and that will get you the RS acct for however long. I think I've been buying it for 3 months at a time.

As long as you don't have a lot of bandwidth (lots of people downloading your links), you should be good with the $$ = time.

It's for the people who have a lot of people downloading their links that the new currency stuff comes in.

Their pricing explanations used to be worse, believe it or not. In June it was completely opaque as to what a person was paying for.

"However long"? How long is "however long"?

Someone will be uploading one 650MB file per week (although they may upload a few weeks worth at one time). I will then be downloading those same files. How many Rapids do I need to do that?
