If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I had one that had all sorts of little tips you could switch out to fit different models. It was nice because I could use the same adapter for my work and home laptops. ETA it was an iGo from Radio Shack.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Thanks!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

OK, according to the delicious blog, they aren't planning on shutting it down as much as selling it. [link]

Good to know.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if we'll ever know if that's what they planned all along, or that's them recovering in the face of response.

I read that they fired all the staff, which seems final.

It could be them looking at the response and going, "Hey, someone might pay us money for this."

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"Hey, someone might pay us money for this."

This, with a side of "oh, crap, everyone on the whole internet is yelling at us!!"

Where did you move to instead of drop.io, LeN? I should offer my sister a good alternative.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, so it kind of depends on what services your sister was using on drop.io:

1) for files, I continue to use dropbox and I ponied up for a year's subscription. The free versions are less space, but all the features. It is easy to use files with dropbox and you can share folders or individual files. I also use cloudapp to share files as well.

2) for voicemails, I use google voice

3) if I want to provide a link for people to send me files, I use dropitto.me which works with dropbox. There is a size limit for that though - which isn't a problem for me.

I heard some people really like mediafire for file sharing.

Yeah, fandom uses megaupload.com a lot, but I'm not sure if she wants less ad-ridden experience. I suggested yousendit.com to her, but it's asking her for credit card details for a trial, so that's not happening.

Dropitto.me sounds interesting--thanks!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I've used mediafire to distribute music comps I've made. I found out about it after seeing some audioblogs use it. It has been problem free for me so far.
