Anyone use Opera on a phone? Sometime, Opera stops going to new pages and I have to close Opera and start it again to get it to work. This happens after as little as five minutes of use. But it might just be the phone.
Which phone? I'm beginning to suspect it on my second phone now. It seems to be the app between consistent web connections and intermittent ones. It's freaking annoying.
Does anyone have a recommendation for another Android browser other than Dolphin? I want to run two on my phone.
Which phone?
It's a Virgin LG Rumor Touch
I was annoyed that Virgin came out with an Android phone a month after I bought this one. But the phone works fine otherwise....
I run Opera mini on my LG Rumor 2 and haven't had problems.
I don't know - I assume something proprietary.
After poking about on my phone, it turns out I was using the default browser - I've downloaded Opera Mini 5.1 but it turns out I wasn't running it. It's installing itself now.
Is that a proprietary OS too, Dana?
It's just..this is the second Android phone I've had give me connection problems after installing Opera. It's frustrating.
I...guess the OS is proprietary? This where my knowledge of cell phone workings ends.
Huh. Opera Mini displays b.org much better than the default browser. But scrolling (by dragging on the screen) is slower. Any way around this? It's tedious to scroll through 25 posts....
OK, now I'll have to go to the pizza place with the borderline reception and see if Opera Mini locks up like the other browser does. I'll probably do that tomorrow.
PDFpen Lets You Sign and Fill Out PDFs Print-Free
Mac: PDFpen is a smart and simple application that helps you fill out and sign PDFs without printing anything, perfect for times you have to fill out a little paperwork. No more print, sign, scan, then email.
...
PDFpen is available as a free demo, but all PDFs saved with the trial will be waterstamped. That's good enough for a lot of paperwork (it's the version I use), but if you need it waterstamp-free, the $60 version removes the waterstamp.
