I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I have the Nook color and it has both landscape and portrait mode, Liese. it doesn't have 3G. just wifi at this point, for some reason.

I still need to get people's contact info so we can take advantage of the lend me feature. haven't gotten to use the library book function either because our local library sucks. trying to get a co-worker to let me use her card number for the huge public library.

Our wings are not tired

I've not been particularly impressed with the browser in any of the e-readers. If browsing is important that's where the iPad starts to come into play as a good alternative. It can do Nook, Kindle, PDF, word .doc, ePub, iBook, etc etc.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Well, matt's phone went for a swim today. So assuming it is dead we may finally get new phones. It looks like our best deal is the iphone4 from a monthyly cost perspective and if he gets the 32 and I get the 16 phone price doesn't make much difference. However, we also looked at the droid 2 global -- and they said name your price and we will see what we can do. I know they want us to leave at&T. ( the only reason I care, At&t coverage is iffy at our house) But what does name your price mean in a practical sense?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just bought a new iPod Touch and OMG the display is amazing! So sharp I can't even see the pixels. Maybe I'll buy an iPad for more tiny pixel goodness.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The iPad has about half the pixel density of the latest iPhone and iPod touch.

Is it a Retina Display? Or maybe I'm thinking of the next iPad? Or the MacBook Air?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The next iPad is rumored to have retina, but not the current one.

OK, I'll wait then.

I hope someday we get Retina (or the equivalent) on regular computers too. A Retina display on a MacBook Pro would be awesome....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've got a 4th gen iPod Touch on order, so I'm looking forward to the display. But really, I'm most of all looking forward to one without synching issues.
