I don't know - how do I find out if I have that?
do you see a gmail icon in the menu bar of Chrome? I think if you go to extensions, you can see if you installed the Gmail one.
If it is installed, you might try deleting the extension, purging cookies again, closing Chrome and re-opening it.
Otherwise, I would just uninstall Chrome and reinstall it. Chrome might just be having a bad day.
I have a .wmv file that needs to play in a standard dvd player. I knew how to do this before my family killed my brain. Help!
Trying to create Gmail filter on reply to. The search is ultra-simple replyto:lbo-talk@lbo-talk.org
But to create a permanent filter - the reply-to field is not in the filter form. Any way around it?
BTW for getting old emails into gmail:
there are free apps you can download to do this, or:
1) for emails: turn imap temporarily on in gmail. add your google account to your client as imap account. Once you are connecting simply copy emails within your client from inbox or sent or whatever to label of your choice in gmail (which will look like a folder to your app.)
2) for contacts export to CSV. Use gmail feature that imports CSV contacts.
OK figured it out. The gmail field "has the words" if used without checking anything is actually for freeform query filters.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome and now it will let me log into gmail. (Whew! and Thanks!)
I owe you a cocktail of your choice, Typo Boy.
I wish I could help, Ginger. My Mac-ness leaves me a bit bereft when it comes to things like .wmv.
