Maybe it's because I don't use Bluetooth, but I've never had a probelm with my RAZR, other than the somewhat fragile front cover glass.

The bluetooth on my Treo 680 is a bit finicky too, actually. Though some of my issues can probably be blamed on my laptop, which has had minor problems with every bluetooth device I've used it with.
I wouldn't turn down a Linux Palm OS. I would love an iPhone that isn't as locked down as the first gen appears likely to be. I'm a fan of flexibility in all my devices, and I don't think Phone OS X will be open enough for my standards for a while after release.

Yeah, I use the phone a lot for checking email and surfing b.org, and the occasional video game to prevent boredom.
This burns battery life like crazy.

I haven't noticed any problems with my 700p's bluetooth, though I do want a new headset. (The one I have doesn't fit very well on my ear, and I'm always worried about it falling off.)
So uh...does anyone have a bluetooth headset they love? I don't need any buttons on it except answer/hangup and volume. And I'd prefer it if it didn't blink unless it was doing something -- my current one blinks every ten seconds to let me know it's still connected, which is annoying when it's on my desk, and annoying to other people when it's on my ear.

I have the Motorola H700, and I find it fits well, has a decent battery life, and IIRC can be set so it doesn't blink when activated.

I have a Jabra BT150.
I wonder if there's any place that would let me try on a headset before buying it. I know from buying glasses that my ears are not quite standard shaped.

If you shop at Fry's or Best Buy (sure about Fry's, pretty sure about BB) you can just return what doesn't work for you, after having tried it out. If getting back to the store isn't an issue, I'd give that a shot.
