I'm planning on starting a blog as the website comes closer to being a functional reality. So, should I use Wordpress, Blogspot, or something else?
Opinions or links would be much appreciated.

My brother and one of his daughters have blogs on Wordpress and they like it. They post a lot of pictures on their blogs and Joe's automatically notifies anybody on his Facebook friends list when there is a new entry.
The SO uses blogspot.
Okay, is it possible to revert to a previous iPhone OS version? I just updated to 4.0.2 on my 3G and text entry alone has become a nightmare. The keyboard and text display are doing odd things during text entry, and half my posts are coming out in text entry as gibberish. The sensitivity spots for the space bar and other keys has changed, seemingly. Double space only gets me a period about Hal the time.
Hmm, well this Blogger vs Wordpress chart is food for thought.

That chart is very misleading since it only compares the hosted versions. You can download the open source Wordpress package and host it on your own page. It's very easy to set up, you have total control and help via the forums is pretty good.
t edit To clarify, the downloadable package is way more customizable than the options via wordpress.com, but the chart doesn't include that.
Oh, see now that is very useful info, Jon, thanks. If I host it, how technical does the issue of security updates to WP become?
You get notified when there are updates and it's ridiculously easy to install them. It's usually, literally, just a couple of mouse-clicks and you're done.
Bonnie! Thanks for the memory.
t now has Bob Hope singing in his ear.
