And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

To be totally fair, I left Sprint years ago and it's entirely possible they've improved since then.

At this point, for me, I'm happy enough in the iPhone ecosystem that the amount I've already spent on apps & music is enough to keep me there a little longer. (And if I switched to another phone, I'd still need an iSomething for my music, which would make buying a full-featured Android phone kind of a waste of money. I don't want to go back to carrying two devices.)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It sounds like your receiver is having difficulty switching between stereo PCM and Dolby digital.

Would this switching happen in the middle of a recorded program or DVD? On the Tivo, it often happens right after I've fast forwarded past commercials. The crazy-crackle continues until I rewind a few seconds and then hit play again.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

On a TV show when going from or to a commercial break? Yes. In the middle of a DVD? Not so much.

When it happens on the TiVo, do you notice any other problems with the signal, like macroblocking?

It's fast-forwarding through anything, though, not just commercials.

When it happens on the TiVo, do you notice any other problems with the signal, like macroblocking?

No, the video is fine.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I never had any issues with Sprint, and always had good coverage. Nothing like the PITA T-Mobile has proven to be.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Help, please! I've got a 17.5 MB pdf file, that I didn't realize was so freakin' large when I scanned it in.

Is there anyone that can resave it as a smaller file? I can't email it through my corp network otherwise. I'd do it myself but I'm on the road.

Thanks!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

If you email it to me, I can optimize it, which should hopefully shrink it enough. How much is too much?
