OMFG MAIL THREADING!!
I somehow missed that there would be mail threading. I was so excited about the unified inbox that I somehow skipped and skimmed? OMG!
Also, I now have my folder of Crap I Don't Use.
I don't have multitasking because I have a 3G. But the other parts are totes worth the endless download/backup/install/restore/sync-yet-again business, especially since I didn't have anything else I needed to be doing with the phone during that time.
Did I mention THREADED MAIL IN MY UNIFIED INBOX?
Oh, umm, upgrade went fine except for taking forever.
Yeah, I downloaded the update the other night and it took FOREVER. I still haven't put it on the phone, though.
Since I haven't taken my laptop with me, I will be upgrading when I get back. Of course, I may not even bother, since I'm planning on getting a 4 in July.
Wish I could afford a 4. It's not in my budget right now. I'll be buying a used 3GS and making do for a while.
Agh, I'm glad you reminded me. I'd better get that started; I need to go in 15.
I am on the road so I won't be able to update my iPhone or my iPad until I'm back on July 14th. The machine I sync with is the iMac in my office.

eReader + public transit is a beautiful thing. The Kindle, at least, is perfectly designed for easy one-handed reading, perfect for reading while holding on to the overhead rail on trains/buses during rush hour.
I am going to wait a few days to update my iPhone. Now that school is winding down, I don't need to consolidate my inboxes quite as badly as I did two months ago, so I'll let any kinks get worked out before I jump in. Glad to hear it's going well, though. It looks cool.
