Yup, HDMI, and an SD slot in the back.
Plus? Direct AC connection, the converter is inside now.
The unit draws only 10 watts.
It also comes with 2 GB RAM and has an access door to upgrade RAM on the bottom. RAM capacity at this time is 8GB.

Didn't realize the no power brick. Very interesting. That thing was almost as big as the computer. So tempting. Damn. Why did I have to move? I can't afford all these toys at once. New Mini. New iPhone. New Xbox. Guest bedroom furniture. Humbug I say.
They can sleep on the XBox. Priorities, man.
Suppose I have a Droid with Verizon service (provided by a corporate account that will expire on the 22nd). If I were to add a line to my already existent Verizon account, could I put this phone onto it and not lose all the old messages etc. that it had from the old number?
I did some kind of thing to back up the files onto an external hard drive, so not everything should get lost even if they do go away with the current phone number, right? But I'm a little unclear what I was backing up - I moved all the files I could see while the phone was in USB mode, but I don't really know what they were.
I still covet a netbook. Asus is a decent brand, isn't it?
Microcenter has some decent deals, Connie. Dan got an emachine netbook, and it is fine. My laptop is an emachine, and it's dandy. I got it for $299 a couple of months ago.
-t, it seems reasonable to think that the phone can be switched over to your account and retain both the stored information and even the same phone number, but only Verizon could tell you for sure.
I like my Asus, Connie: [link]
Good battery life, travels well, fine for most web and .doc purposes. I wouldn't want to run Photoshop or Final Cut Pro on it, but I didn't buy it with that in mind.
Thanks, dcp. I'll take it down to my local Verizon kiosk and see what they say.
I wil hopefully be getting an iphone4 when I get back from Italy.
