Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
brenda, I don't. if you google, there seems to be some third party options, but you might have to cut and paste the excel files in question (and/or write some formulas) to compare cells and rows.
If you provide more information, I might be able to help you suss out differences.
Thanks, le nub. I ended just copy and pasting the whole damn thing into a couple of word docs and doing it that way.
I know that it's so passe, but I'm on some yahoo groups. I get the emails and everything from multiple groups, but it doesn't recognize my email as a log on. Anybody knowledgeable about Yahoo Groups?
Possibly, Debet--I run a couple yahoogroups. You mean when you are signed in to Yahoo, and go to groups.yahoo.com, the groups don't show up in your sidebar?
It won't let me sign it. It says that the login (which is where they send me emails!) is not registered.
Do you have yahoomail? Can you sign in there, and click the stay signed in button, and from there just type in groups? And even then it kicks you out? Or do you not have yahoomail?
My Yahoo ID is not my email address. Did you try clicking on "I can't access my account"?
Debet,
just in case it isn't clear, there are two ways by which you can join yahoo groups: through an email address or with your yahoo acct. Further, after you join, you can customize other options.
If you can, you might want to search your email for the original email you received when you joined the groups. If you cannot, then the "I can't access my account" might work, if you are talking about a yahoo acct. If you were subscribed via email, I can't remember the procedure.
I don't have a yahoo email account.
I tried clicking on "I can't access my account". Apparently I entered something wrong, but I don't know what.
Thanks, LeN, I'll keep poking things.
I'm trying to find out about what kinds of cupcakes are available at this cupcakery: [link] All the links to the menu and the flavors, though, go to .mht files, which my browser (firefox on a Mac) doesn't know what to do with. Help?
