Hm. Good to know.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I feel like this is a dumb question, but...
I recently somehow ended up with the Google Chrome browser on my computer. I've been trying it out and I like it but I can't get videos to play on it (or Pandora). I think I have installed Java and WMP(I'm not very adept with Windows machines), but still, no video.
What am I missing? And why would Google make a browser that doesn't just play video.
That video makes me want an iPad more than anything else has! The iPad is in some precarious situations, there, though; I'm not sure I'd trust velcro to keep it safe. Though given my cats' tendency to knock stuff off, "attached to the ceiling" might be the safest place.
Nice! That solves some of my I-need-my-iPod-but-Ihave-no-pockets problems, I think (with an easy upgrade when/if I get an iPad...)
and if you are wearing a sweater, you can just push it on your body, and carry it that way.
Ha!
I'm looking around my house, thinking of places I could stick an iPad.
ARGH! Excel is driving me batty. Am I the only one who longs for the days before wizards when you put the info where you wanted and it included what you wanted in the font and color of your choice? Now, these damned things are so "helpful" that you can't make changes. GRRRRRRR!!!!
I think you can turn off the wizard, can't you?
