And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's being discussed a fair amount in Natter.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Perhaps this could be of use to someone....

Any Actionscripters here? (3.0) I'm having a movieclip problem, where I'm creating a bunch of clips with a for loop and trying to place them in order within a parent movieclip (that will hopefully, eventually, scroll), but the baby clips are piling on top of each other and I can't figure out why.

The code snippet is on my blog: [link]

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

And now my display seems to have completely crapped out. Seriously, I do not need this and can't afford it right now.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Anyone got (or ever tried) a Motorola Droid, perchance? I'm getting an upgrade today and I'm seriously considering one. I'm in love with Android, since my fantastic HTC Hero, and I need a physical keyboard. The Droid looks good.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I like my Droid very much, but I very rarely use the physical keyboard.

Thanks - interesting. I almost never use my HTC without using the keyboard, but a better-designed phone might change that. Can't see myself ever typing e-mails etc without one, though. The Girl has an HTC Dream with a virtual keyboard, and I don't have the manual dexterity to write anything with it.

Why isn't the apple web page more iPhone friendly? I have a genius bar appointment for 1:45.

Seska, if the keyboard is important to you, definitely test-drive it before you buy. The tactile boundary between keys on the Droid is not well defined, making it difficult to tell if you are pressing your target key or the one next to it, or both. No doubt I'd be better at it if I practiced more, but the virtual keyboard works well for me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the voice-to-text feature works, but I haven't done anything more than play with it.

Good luck Sean. Hope it's something easy.
