So, who's using Chrome as your primary browser?
I tried Chrome when it first came out, but I'm giving it another try on my work computer.

On Mac + Linux, hub uses it when he does Windows as well.
Well, I love Chrome but I use it and Firefox equally at home and at work I also need to use IE because some of the online work documents don't read right in Chrome or Firefox. (Sigh.)
Chrome at work and Firefox at home. Now that Chrome has extensions, I'm warmed up to it greatly. Overall they both work well enough that I feel half-dozen of one, six of the other.
so, I was in the university bookstore today buying gift cards to bribe my students with and played with the iPad a little. I was kind of meh. Mostly because I'm lazy and would have to hold it. it was heavier than I expected, though in retrospect, my expectations are unrealistic. I couldn't see myself owning it for anything other than the novelty value. I would get more use out of a netbook.
I also use chrome, but I don't even begin to understand extensions. I like that when I open up a tab I get little pictures of my most visited sites to choose from. It is like computers on teevee.
I swap between Chrome and Safari more or less randomly. That is, there are websites I prefer one or the other for, but I can't remember why and I'm not sure there are real reasons.
Extensions are great until Chrome got AdBlock (blocks advertisements) Chrome was a nonstarter. Another one I love is Lazarus which saves text in forms so I don't lose posts. Also Lazarus is hilarious when it cashes (not very often) and Chrome asks me if I want to restart it.
I use Xmarks which syncs my bookmarks across browsers and computers. Chrome's Xmarks extension was incredibly buggy and deleted/duplicated my bookmarks several times.
In addition, I use 1password to keep track of my passwords and there is no chrome extension for this. When they get 1password, I might try chrome again. I liked it because the xmarks no 1password thing made it an absolute nonstarter.
Does someone have a favorite online fax service? I have an eight page .pdf I need to fax to the IRS and I am having trouble with my usual suspects. I am willing to pay, just irritated. My other option is to try to duct tape and baling wire my Vonage to work with my mobile internet.
I think I need to spend the money and get that router. But I might need to replace my dongle anyway, because it fell off the couch along with the SO's laptop that it was plugged into, when we jumped up at one of the Blackhawks goals. Oops. So maybe I should look at that whole thing.
