I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do the Nike+ thing and haven't gotten a lot of spam from it, I don't think. I'm pretty sure I even checked the "send me offers and whatnot" box and the official Nike e-mails are just occasional and actually informative.

Do you not have to put a sensor in your shoe, now? I bought my new Nano just a little too early, it seems.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think I still can, but it works without it. (So I'm not sure what the advantage to the sensor is.)

That's pretty sweet. I almost wish I didn't know that.

t Glares at old Nanos that need adapter to communicate with shoe sensors

Does yours have the video camera and FM radio?

I had no idea Nanos now have all this stuff until I bought mine last week.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, I'm really wanting to upgrade but I'm trying to hold off until I see if the new iPhone is on its way and all that.

No, it does not. Stupid progress bumping into my cannot replace things when they are still working ethic.

Speaking of the Nano....

Nike+ Heart Rate Monitor Due for Launch June 1st

Great news! I have a U.S. launch date for the Nike+ compatible heart rate monitor. It will officially launch on June 1, 2010, although it may reach some retail outlets slightly sooner. It will reach Canadian markets in June and will launch internationally in summer 2010, exact date to be determined.

...

Plans for the heart rate monitor were revealed last September in a revision to Apple's Nike + iPod User Guide, which claimed that the device will only be compatible with the fifth-generation iPod nano.

I'd love to have the heart rate monitor, except I can't jog and I don't wanna wear headphones while riding my bike (for safety reasons)....

Oh, I've been wanting that for a long time! In a not really believing it would ever really exist way. That will make me buy yet another Nano, if it's required.

If you stick on earbud in one ear only it won't keep you from hearing ambient noise, and you don't have to listen to it for it to work, you just miss out on the voice telling you how far you've gone or how much time has passed or whatever. All the data is still recorded.

Huh. Good to know. I'll have to think about it once we know how much the heart thing will cost.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Twitter app for Android that lets me view lists easily and also does alerts? I like sobees, except it doesn't tell you when someone tweets to you. I also tried Twidroid, Seesmic, Yap Yap, and Twidgit Lite.
