Yeah, I'm pretty certain I've got a drive of that size in the shop. Mark should know where they are. There might even be a 250 GB in there somewhere.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I think I just crushed the spirit of a co-worker who came to show me his new iPhone. He had no idea there was a new one (probably) coming out in a month...
aww man.
well, he has 30 days to return it.
Technological progress is a cruel mistress.
Speaking of iphones, I feel guilty for even asking this, but I've recently acquired some audiobooks in a format readable by itunes. (mpeg-4)
However, once I put the chapters in a playlist on itunes, I can't seem to transfer them to my inactive iphone.
It isn't imperative, of course, but it sure would be nice. What am I not understanding about the technology and is there a way around it?
I don't know about audiobooks, but I noticed that I used to be able to make a playlist of podcast episodes so that they would run continuously through to the next one on my iPod as well as my computer, but now I can't seem to do that anymore. Either it won't put the playlist on my iPod at all, or, if I add it to an existing playlist with songs, only the songs will show up on my iPod.
So annoying because now when a podcast ends on my iPod, it puts the menu all the way back to the first "music" level.
megan, have you tried using the scanner yet, btw?
I haven't even unpacked!
I seem to remember we've discussed alternate DNS servers. There was one that was really highly recommended.
