get the 32GB and stream what you can't fit.
This would be for toting video around with me--I can stream any of the video in my house to my TiVo or Apple TV.
And my music is currently just about 28GB worth, so I'd be looking to go bigger than 32.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

This is why I don't even have a smartphone yet. Too many options!
Hell, I can't even decide if I want to buy a refurb TiVo. Dish Network is a frustrating unreliable signal and Comcast's DVR is a pile of user-unfriendly suck, so a TiVo would solve the problems ... but what if I don't like it? Dither
what if I don't like it?
Only crazy people don't like TiVos. You might like something else more, but you can't not like a TiVo!
Trufax.
A ringing endorsement. Okay, I'm stopping being ridiculous and buying the TiVo.
Now, perhaps a Droid Incredible? But what if it isn't... Incredible?
The only real downside to Tivo is that it won't work with DirecTV, which is of course the provider I have to have. But you can do the cablecard thing with Comcast.
And if you really hate it, you can sell it.
Well, it does, but you can't do the dual tuner with DTV.
It does? I've got a Series Two that just gets the free channels right now, can I hook it up to the satellite signal? I thought I couldn't.
Yup. Mine is Series Two also. It can only do one sat channel at a time, but otherwise it works.
ita,

not for nothing, but I use airvideo to stream video from my home computer to wherever I am out and about in a good wifi situation. So while I often use it at home, I have used it at work (gasp!) or other places.

Bad person!
Hmm. I'd have to think about the security implications of doing that. I might go 64 and do that too! I've got a lot of video.
