I have an original iPhone, so mine should be available for subsidized. But I'll wait until I hear the 4g is working good, or see if it's available on another network. My iPhone is still working just fine.

are you sure the Iphone is 4g? I think it is OS 4.0, but not 4G
Apple rumor mill speculation is that it's going to be called either the iPhone 4G or the iPhone HD - I don't know that it will actually have a 4G radio in there. (Though there are also rumors that there will be a Verizon version, which could maybe point to an LTE version at some point.)
what about the new iphone do you like?
Mainly the camera and the ability to fully run the iPhone 4.0 software - my old 3G won't get multitasking at all. And, you know, I've had my phone for 2 years. CLEARLY it is obsolete and time for me to upgrade!
I'm trying to decide if I'm going to hang on to the iphone 3gs I currently have or turn it back in to apple and get the new iphone.

I keep holding out, I just know that the second that I cave and upgrade, there will be a Verizon version.
There's a Verizon vendor near me that has a sign up in their window encouraging people to pre-register for their iPhone. I was surprised to see it that concrete.

DH and I went looking at Droids and iphones.
2 arguments against the iphone were 1) At&t coverage in our house is bad. Verizon is much better 2) DH likes the idea of the more open Droid platform.
Now you are telling me that verizon is going to have the iphone?
if it does, it won't be for a couple months at the earliest. If you need a phone, and AT&T has bad coverage, I say go for a non HTC google phone. And that comes form an iPhone loving Apple die hard.
no point in getting a phone that doesn't work in your house.
can you get a phone that doesn't lock you into a contract at least until Apple makes an announcement about timing and features of the new iphone (which will be in June sometime).
All the rumors I have heard say that while there will be a new iPhone in June, there won't be a Verizon iPhone until the fall.

However, Google Labs has its own version (called Nested Labels) which seems to work just as well. The only catch is that you need to have labels named for the top level folders. So, if you want a set of folders for all your friends, you still create labels named "Friends/Tom", "Friends/Dick", "Friends/Harry", etc., but you also need to create a label named "Friends".
