As long as you can run the latest version of iTunes on it.
I have also heard that the staff at the Apple Store can do that initial setup for you.
I'm pretty happy reading on mine. Haven't had a chance to do too much ebook reading yet, but lots of time behind the screen on other stuff. It is a very good screen.
Okay, I'm helping out our IT director tomorrow - interviewing a Sr Sys Admin. Hivemind give me some good, pertinent questions for the guy?
I'm going to be taking over a Linked In ... profile? it's one that someone else started that uses a lot of material from my employer, but the guy who started it couldn't keep up and is handing it over to us ... meaning ME. I've had nothing to do with this site - anyone have any advice, comments, pertinent information, snarky comments? Anything's welcome.
With eInk, you can't have a book like this.
Ha! It's like a pop-up book for the digital age. Fun.

I use LinkedIn, but I'm not sure I have any advice or comments. Except that it keeps telling me I'm only 80% complete because I haven't filled up enough boxes.
Does anyone have wallpaper changing programs they like? I got some sort of weird Trojan last night that killed WallMaster, which I have used for years. I installed the latest version, but when I restarted my computer, the executable was missing, as if AVG now thinks it's a virus all the time or something. I deleted the Trojan from the Virus Vault, so I hope it will stay away, but I'm not sure I can use WallMaster anymore, which is sad. I like having my wallpaper change every 30 minutes!
I am posting here because I am proud of myself for ordering, installing, and registering a shiny new cable modem with ND out of the country. Our internet is scary fast now!
I know this is not a major technological accomplishment, but I'm still pretty darned proud. Does anyone need a gently used Motorola SB5101 Surfboard cable modem? It works great; it just wasn't new enough for the scary fast signal ND pays extra for for his business. (Or did you have plans for the old one, Drew?)
I might need it. Looks like my new apt is a choice between DSL or cable. Cable is faster.
It's all yours, Omnis. I will set it aside.
awesome! Thanks!
eta to remove smiley face. oops, sorry about that.
