Do you mean Word / Office?

Scroll down a bit and you'll see the instructions.

Excel is less tricky. Click the big circle menu in the top-left corner of the window. Click on the Excel Options button on the bottom of the menu. Then choose popular and there should be a setting for the default font to use in a new worksheet.

Trust my rage

yes, I meant Word. Not sure why I typed Windows. Thanks, Gud.

eta: That wasn't hard. I think somewhere along the line, there was a major redesign of Word. It's not hard to use, but I often feel lost because I can't find what I want where I'm used to looking for it.

Our wings are not tired

Just in case anyone is interested so far the iPad is working quite well as a laptop replacement for email and websurfing work while on the road. My goal on this trip is to try to use the iPad for almost all of my tasks and so far the laptop has only come out of my bag once and that was to do some audio editing. I'm even finding the onscreen keyboard very usable for typing. Amzingly pretty much doing fast touch-typing on it.

So, my laptop at home has stopped recognizing the ".exe" string. Everytime I try to double click on a program, it asks me for what program to associate with that file. Any idea how to fix?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Which laptop? If it's the older, crappy one, then it's time to take it back to the school and have it re-imaged.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Have you run a virus scan?

Yep, I've run AVG and Malware Bytes. And Windows, I think.

Can anyone explain why my iPhone is suddenly refusing to believe there is signal anywhere? Places I'm quite certain there is signal?
